Hello all,

This problem has been driving me insane for quite a bit of time. In essence, I created a custom PDF portfolio, and have several subfolders. All of the PDFs inside the folders open fine. If i have multiple PDFs in the initial directory upon open, most of them will work. However, the FIRST pdf will not be preview/open on a double click. In order to view it, you have to click the preview button in the menu.

The same problem persists when there is only one pdf in the initial directory. You double click it, and there is no action.

What up with this? Anyone have any thoughts?

Have you updated to the latest point version of Acrobat 9? What Windows OS is this problem occurring on?

Hi, I'm seeing that this post is a year old. Was there ever any resolution to the problem. I'm facing the same issue but I am working with a Word document. It is very intermittent, it work once then not again. I thought it was the word doc but it does seem to be whatever file is in the first position. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Clients on my back!!!
