I have looked everywhere and I can't figure out how to convert a 9 Pro portfolio to a X Pro portfolio. I need to be able to use the advance search options in X Pro to view & print all comments in a portfolio. Any help?

Acrobat Pro 10.0.1, Windows

Simply switch to Edit mode and choose one of the Acrobat X layouts. You'll be prompted to upgrade when you click the button, but bear in mind that you can't go back again so keep a copy of the original if it's likely you'll need it.
