caint print from CS4 apps to network printer

All MS office applications can print to the company Canon netwok printer with the exception of print jobs processed by Adobe CS4 InDesign application. When sent onto the print que in Windows 7 Pro the printer displays a flashing error light and will not print. Printing directly to a usb connected printer works fine. Currently in the process of updating drivers for the CS4 and Win 7. If that doesn't work I'll uninstall the printer then reinstall it/and drivers.

If the printers error lights is flashing, the print job already is processed by the printer.
You should check the printer to find out, why it's flashing.

Often it's a problem of the paper size or media type.

You might better pose this question in a forum associated with InDesign. This forum deals primarily with Acrobat printing and pre-press issues.

You also might provide some more useful information. What model Canon printer are you using? PostScript or PCL or some other PDL? Driver? Settings?
