I have created multiple images and attached ICC calibration profiles for a digital camera. Is it possible to create a single pdf with the inserted images and have the colour management handled correctly for the multiple icc profiles?

Of course!

When you create the PDF, be sure to embed the ICC profiles and Acrobat will "do the right thing".
