User has Adobe Pro 6.0. printing to HP1300. All was working fine but suddenly now when she goes to print the print dialog box takes almost 45 seconds to come up. Changed default printer same thing. All other apps print fine.
I upgraded her to 8.0 - same problem.
I've read a couple previous posts with people having the same problem but no one has posted a solution!

It's possible that this is caused by an offline network printer. Try checking all of your printers and removing the ones no longer in use.

Some printers have a sleep mode and when the enter this energy saving mode, they have to wake up when the network queries them before the printer can tell the network it is available and not offline and what its features are. Much like your laptop or desktop going into a power saving mode.
