Image quality problem

Hello there,

Using Adobe distiller, I've converted some results from excel to PDF. I opened the pdf file and pressed the "Print screen" key of the keyboard to capture the screen shot. I opened the MS Paint, paste there the screen shot, then cut off the piece I was interested and save it as a new bmp file (24 bit).

I've inserted the image into a word (version 2003) document and then convert it to PDF. Thing is that the image quality is a bit bad (like fading). I assume that this happens because of the strict page margins, the image becomes smaller so it fit.

Is there a solution so I can have an image in line with text (word doc.) and everything be converted with quality resolution? If I can avoid the big size of bytes would be like a dream.

Thank you very much in advance for your kind help,

Kind Regards,

Kostas

Hi --

Instead of the method you used, use the Paste Special feature in Word and link the spreadsheet to the page. The contents use the same resolution as the Word file and should be much better looking.
