Hello - I am having a problem when trying to print PDFs. This is a new problem and I think it might be related to Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.0. I could post a document example so you could try to duplicate the problem.
I have a document that is 1.6 MB. It opens quickly in Professional 8.0. But when I try to print it, it takes a very long time and if I go in and check the printer settings, it's spooling the document and the size is listed as 107 MB.
The file seems to get larger (extremely large) when I go to print the file. It's like something is getting opened up when the printer gets the print request.
This is not the only file where this is occurring and it's a new problem.
The agency prepares the files using In Design. They have no problem printing out the files that they are sending me but they are using a 6.XX version of Adobe Acrobat Professional.
I hope this is some setting that can be changed and that you'll be aware of this problem and can help me fix it.
