Printing 7 Prof

I am printing from Acrobat 7 Professional and the last couple of days, I am only getting a short print dialog box, not the full one with the advanced options and page view. When I try to print with this dialog box, the file goes to the printer but does not process through. The really wierd thing is that the print dialog box/printing problem comes and goes with no changes on my part. I downloaded the updates for both 7 and 8 this morning but that did not resolve the problem.
