I am having trouble printing from Adobe Reader (8.1.0.0). It prints black rectangles where there should be whitespace. I determined I had print as image turned on and the problem goes away when I uncheck this. But with this unchecked I cant print two sided. I am forced to choose between wasting toner and wasting paper. I am running XP and this worked fine until a couple of weeks ago.
thanks for any help.
1. Choose Start > Printers And Faxes (Windows XP) or Start > Devices and Printers (Windows 7).
2. Right-click your printer and choose Printing Preferences.
3. Click Advanced.
4. Expand Document Options > Printer Features.
5. Select the desired options and then choose On from the drop-down menu. If you don't find duplex printing and stapling in the options to turn on, then your selected printer doesn’t support those features.
6. Click OK, and then click OK again to exit the dialog box.
Do you have print color as black unchecked in the Acrobat Print dialog?
