Printing Legal Size Documents

I regularly receive pdf documents from my vendors that are legal size. When I go to print the document, it defaults to shrinking the document to a letter size paper and prints the reduced size. The workaround I'm having to do each time is to change the Page Scaling then go to the printer properties and change the paper to legal size.

All of my other applications print documents in the respective sizes. Is there a way to change the default settings so it prints legal size documents the right size without having to go through these steps every time?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 8, Windows

In Acrobat, once you choose the Page Scaling it should 'stick' until you change it again. For our default installtion we have it set to 'none' for both Reader and Acrobat.

Unfortunately this is not an easy setting to registry hack as it has components in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Printers and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Printers

I feel your pain.
