I am using acrobat professional 7.0. when i try and print with comments summary the file does not show the actual text of the pdf file, and just shoes the comments. This is true regardless of the setting I use, provided I have the document included when I print (the "Comments only" option works fine). Printing the document without the comments works fine.
This works fine for me on Acrobat 7.09 Professional and I don't remember any issues with the earlier dot releases of 7, but make sure you have the latest 7.09 in any case.
With the document open go to File ->Print with Comments Summary. In the Summarize Options dialog, under Choose a Layout select "Document and comments with connector lines on single pages" and choose to include All Comments. Click OK.
In the Print dialog that appears next make sure in the "Printer" section under Comments and Forms that "Documents and Markups" is selected. If you want all the comments and lines to show up on a single page for each page of the document, under the Page Handling area select "Reduce to Printer Margin." In the "Preview" window on the right side of that dialog you should see a view of the page with comments included- this is the print result you should get when you click OK.
Hope that helps,
Dimitri
