My initial reaction would be to double check things such as software and driver updates for both Acrobat and the HP Laserjet. Download the latest patches and try again, it seems an unusual problem.
If the problem still persists - please let us know if this occurs with all documents of just a certain few?
Finally, you might want to double check the colour management settings from Acrobat (CMS on by default) via Print / Advanced / Set to NONE
