Acrobat Standard doesn't support some Advanced Editing tools such as the Movie tool. But Acrobat Standard didn't appear until Acrobat 6, so I'm a bit confused here. If you have Acrobat Standard, you're using Acrobat 6 or greater. You can't import sounds with a tool, but you can import sound files on Page Actions in Acrobat Standard.

If you really are using Acrobat 5, then you have the Movie tool. Use it to import sound files.

I ran script to add Run a javaScript Action like playAudio('001'), playAudio('002') to hundreds of links which have been created manually by other people to access mp3 files. The problem is how I can let one floating media window closed and stopped playing programming with javascript when I click other link to play. I checked Acrobat javascript API doc and guessed events should be working. But I just don't know how to add this part into document script "function playAudio(audio #)". I greatly appreciate your help and thanks in advance.

If you are using Rich Media annotations (Acrobat 9), you can use getAnnotsRichMedia to access all media clips on the current page and change their "activated" property to false, then activate the specific audio clip.
