Converting OCR Text Into Word

I have scanned, run OCR and saved (as either a .rtf or Word.doc) a document. But when I open the doc in Word, all the text is in countless text boxes. How do I get all the text in the new doc in one text box or better yet no text boxes?

You can set your preferences in OCR for not using the boxes.

Thanks (2 Years later) but this problem has come back... Which OCR options are you referring to? Or which menu? Couldn't anything in either OCR or Save help. Thanks Grady
