Flash and Acrobat

Hi,

I've known for a while that you can PDF a webpage and have it embed flash into the document (or does it simply link the flash in the document to a website? not sure...)

Anyway, I have never really understood how exactly it works or why. When I PDF anything with flash, it gets stored as a static image. When my co-worker does it, it embeds the flash into her document. What I'm looking for is WHERE do I turn this feature on and off? Embedding flash is a neat trick but I just want my static images.

Anyone who can shed light on how to turn off the flash embed feature I will be very grateful to. If anyone wants to take another step forward and actually explain how it embeds the flash (like is it a link or not?), please do so as well, I'm a bit nerdy and like to understand the basic gist of things.

Thanks!

There is a preference you can set to allow multimedia operations. This is located under Multimedia Trust in the Preferences:
Edit --> Preferences --> Multimedia Trust
