Does anyone know how to make an audio file stop? I created a play button and a stop button on Microsoft Word. I then attached a sound file to both buttons....I tried to assign play to one, and stop to the other, but they both just play the sound file. Can't get them to stop when I want....please advise, anyone!! Scott

Under action for the button edit the "play media " property and select stop from the drop down box in the top of the dialog box that appears.

Thank you for your reply, although I did try this, I found that it wont save that setting. I'm using a 30 day trial of Adobe Acrobat...so I was wondering if this could be a limitation? Any further thoughts? Thank you...Scott

I just reread your first post, did you assign an audio clip to each of the buttons? If you did, then that is your problem.
You need to make sure that both your start and stop button is referencing the same media clip (not different instances of the same media clip).

There are no limitations in the 30 day trial of the program. So that would not be the issue, sorry to say so, but somewhere you made an error :)

If nothing seems to work. Start all over again. Sometimes you just end up with things that makes sense, and as soon as you do it all over again, everything works.
