Setting Focus to Flash element when PDF opens

Hi There,
I'm working with a client who has a very specific request: they want me to add a swf in a pdf that has functionality that responds to key strokes. The Flash part is easy enough using a key listener. The problem is that in order to get the Flash listener to activate the user must click on the Flash element to be in focus. This is the case even when when you embed the file with "Enabled when: the page containing the content is opened" is selected. Is there a way to set the focus to the swf when the pdf is opened initially? Or to pass key strokes to the flash file via javascript?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave

There currently is no Javascript API to set focus to the Richmedia/Flash/SWF annotation when you open the PDF. I did ask around and I wish I could give you better (more useful) information or a workaround, but I can't...
