Cannot Change Security Method

Hi,

I created a pdf using Adobe LiveCycle Desinger 7.1. When I view the pdf using adobe reader 9, in document properties security tab, the security method is set to 'No Security' and the change settings button is unavailable.

Can I customize the security setting during the creation of pdf using Adobe LifeCycle Desinger 7.1? Because I need to set a password prompt when the user open the document.

Check under the File > Form Properties menu in Designer (this is where it is in version 8 not sure about version 7). If you select the PDF Security tab you can add an "open" password.
