Default Password

Background:

We get a lot of PDF sent into our company and generally the PDF's are password protected. Each vender/company/person generally uses the same password for all the PDF they send.
Company A: Password= ABC
Vender B; Password= 12345

Question:

Is there a way or a script that can input or test a set of "Default Passwords?"
In addition to that, still prompt for a password if it doesn't find it?

Note:

I'm not looking for a password cracker or something that will test the whole english dictionary against the file. We know the passwords, we would just like to streemline the process.
