I need to sign a PDF file, but I am not sure about how to. I wanted to create a new signature with self-sign but I couldn't find the option and all the options under 'digital signature' tab are grayed ( disabled, non usable).
The file has signing allowed.
I am using adobe professional 8 trial version and tried disabling the FIPS mode.
Can anybody give a direction?

A couple things in setting this up. First ensure that you have your self-sign signature set up. If you haven't, you can do this by going to Advanced->Security Setting. Under Digital ID Select "Add ID" and walk thought the steps for setting up the self sign signature.Once you have your signature set up, open your document and go to Advanced->Sign &Certify->Place Signature. Drag out a box over the area that you would like to sign. You will get a dialog box that allows you to select your signature and appearance. Click "Sign" to sign the document.

Acrobat 6 Standard

I messed up and click "Do not show this window again" while signing a bunch of documents. I thought it would save time and clicks, but now when I click SignDoc it does nothing, and I cant sign anything.

Is there a way I can turn it back on so I can sign again?
