ERROR Code: 2148073483 - Can Not Use Digital Signature

I have Adobe Professional 8.0 I removed it from an old lap top, and re-installed the s/w on my new laptop and registered the software.

Since then, when I attempt to use my digital signature. I get the following message:

Platform Exception
Key not Valid for use in specified state.
Error Code: 2148073483

I'd really like to use my digital signature again - can anyone help?

Hi wkholli,

When you installed Acrobat on the new system, none of the Dig Sigs you created on your old system would have transferred over. You will either have to locate Dig Sig file on your old system and copy them over, or create a new Dig Sig on the new system. You will see when you create a new Dig Sig you are asked for a folder location to store the file- if you chose the default setting this can give you a good clue on where to find it on your old system.
