I am trying to prevent a pdf that I have created from being saved. I want the user to be able to print but not save the pdf locally and therfore be able to email it to anyone else.
I have password prorected the document and allowed printing in high resolution but no other changes are allowed. While this does diable the "Save" feature in Microsoft, the user is still able to "Save As". Any suggestions?

Hi Donna,

No, you cannot prevent saving of your PDF with the security features available in Acrobat. The best protection and control available for this kind of security is a DRM (Digital Rights Management) system. Check out the Adobe Document Center- they are offering a free trial for the rest of 2008.

Hope this helps,
