When locking down a PDF document, 1 password is used to lock or unlock the PDF.

Is there any way, a password generator can be added to the secure PDF, so when the file is downloaded, it also generates a random password to open the file?

Reason being, once the single password is purchased and given out, I do not want people sharing it.

Thanks.

Chad.

The only way to dynamically secure a PDF is with a custom tool. You can't add this kind of code to a PDF, it has to be done with an external application. As luck would have it there are several 3rd party server side tools and libraries for doing just this sort of thing. With these kinds of tools you can build a server side tool that password protects the PDF before delivering it to the user.

Look at www.activepdf.com and www.appligent.com. But there are also many more. just do a google search.
