Answered
Hi! I am trying to use Adobe PDF for an eBook I wrote and want to protect the PDF so that people cannot copy or change what I have in my pdf document.
I tried to encrypt it but it then asks for a password to open the document.
Can someone tell me the steps I need to just protect the content and not password the document from being opened.
Thanks in advance
Jennifer
When you apply security using Password Encrypt, use the Set Permissions instead of Require a Password to Open a Document part of the Password Security Settings dialog. In that part of the dialog you get to choose from several options of what you will allow or not allow to be changed in the document by viewers.
Hope this helps,
Dimitri
