Hello:

I have a form which is an Authorization for Release of Information. A signature is required. A person comes to the website, opens the PDF form, completes the form and now they must sign and date it. Most people only have Acrobat Reader to look at documents? How does a person with Acrobat Reader sign this PDF?

My Product Information:
Reader 8, Unix/Linux

Hi focus310,

You'll need to use the feature "Enable Usage Rights in Adobe Reader" in Acrobat Pro. 8. This command allows you make the following features available when a document is opened in the free Adobe Reader:
- Save form data
- Commenting and drawing markup tools
- Sign an exisiting signature field
- Digitally sign the document anywhere on the page (only supported in Adobe Reader 8.0)

Hope this helps,
Lori
