Is it possible to create a reset button within your PDF form that only resets "some" but not all of the fields?
Since there are two types of PDF forms — forms created with the Acrobat tools, and forms created with Adobe LiveCycle Designer — we'll give two examples that show how this can be done.
Acrobat forms:
Figure 1: From the Reset a Form dialog box select only the fields that should be reset.

LiveCycle forms:
Figure 2: Add JavaScript to the reset button to specify which fields to reset.

Try selecting just off to the side. It’s a known bug.
Thanks,

9, 2016-02-11 11, 2016I want to reset all but 3 fields with Acrobat Forms but it doesn’t want me to only select a few. I either have the option of “select all” or “deselect all”. Can someone help me please

Also, if you have so many fields in one page, and you would like to have a reset button only for the fields in that page, then you can do a page-level reset:
xfa.host.resetData(“Formname.Pagename”);
Sandy - thanks for letting us know how this is done for just one page on a form created in Livecycle Designer.
