Hi david friedman,

I would suggest posting your question in the LiveCycle Designer forum at:
https://forums.adobe.com/community/livecycle/livecycle_modules_and_development_tools/livecycle_designer_es

Thanks,
Lori

I’ve followed your examples to the letter and yet cant get the lookup feature to work.  i tried it using LC version 4 on Windows 7 64bit.  it only populates the form with the first row in the dataset and the lookup doesnt even execute the code-behind

Hi Jason,

I’ve included a link to the sample files in the description of this session.

Thanks,

Can you please send the source documents to me as well?

One thing that is missing (or I missed) is the data binding to the cloned data connection versus linking to the actual data connection. Is oDB setup as a form variable so it remains after the script is run?

Thanks!

Is there any way to get get a copy of pdf files that are used in this video?  When I try to download the files at the end of the video, I get the following error: The selected resource does not exist.

Hi Bruce,

Yes, this version of the video is post re-sync. I just listened to various portions of it and didn’t detect any problem in the sound quality. The Connect session does work better on a wired connection rather than wireless. Also, be sure and turn up the volume on your computer speakers.

If you’d like to send me your browser, version and OS, I can ask our webmaster to take a look at issues related to platform.

I’m sorry for any continued problems you’re experiencing and appreciate you taking the time to advise us of the issues.

Post re-sync?? still not able to hear it.  There’s a very clear copy of it on YouTube - but it is a teaser - ends after 7 minutes or so - too bad the whole video can not sound like that.

Any luck getting this video fixed so it can be heard?

We have re-sync’d the recording and there should be no more audio problems. Please let us know if you continue to encounter problems.

Thanks,

Patty

Hi Bill, Terry and Vincent,

We’re looking into whether or not we can re-sync the recording.

Thanks for your comments.

The audio was very bad! It was very broken up and I could not really make out what was being said.

Hi Vincent and Terry,

Thanks for the heads up on the soundtrack and sorry you’re experiencing problems. I just listened to the soundtrack and it sounded fine to me; however, I’ll ask our webmaster to take a look at it.
