Hi richard ndegese,

You’ll need Acrobat and not just the free Reader to convert a scanned image to Word. All you need to do is export the scanned image and it will automatically OCR the file and convert to Word.

You’ll need Acrobat DC and not just the free Reader in order to edit a scanned PDF file.

I would like to edit a scanned pdf document.  Do I need to buy the Acrobat DC product before i can scan said document.
