Have you ever wanted to send an email from within Acrobat using a webmail account like Gmail or Yahoo?

Just follow these 5 simple steps, and you’ll be sharing your PDF files from Acrobat or Adobe Reader XI.

  1. Select Send File... from the File menu.
    You can also select the envelope icon from the toolbar.
  2. Choose your webmail program.
  3. Enter your email address and information (if necessary) and click OK and Continue.

  4. Sign in to your webmail program and grant access to Acrobat.
  5. Open your drafts folder, address, and send the email message.

Thanks for the tutorial, very helpful.  but I am confused. do I enter my own email address or the email address I want to send the pdf to?
I entered my own email address and I checked my inbox, I couldn’t find my pdf though

Hi Chiu,

Have you tried deleting the email account and re-creating it in Reader?
Do you have all the latest updates installed for Reader?

I have tried the steps to send via web mail (gmail account) but this error occured with this message
