Hi paula,

What do you see in Google under Account Permission as detailed here:
https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/3466521?hl=en

Does it list anything about Acrobat/Reader?

Thanks,
Lori

I have found a resolution that worked for me:

1. Go to Edit -> Preferences -> Security (Enhanced) and uncheck “Enable Protected Mode at Startup”.
2. Restart Reader
3. Now add a new Gmail profile and try to send a mail through it.

I am having this same issue with a form, but just on one PC. I tried clearing out the email account in preferences as well. I’m using Windows 7 with Chrome as my default browser.

Hi Donna and Ray,

Try deleting and then re-entering your gmail account information under Edit > Preferences > Email Accounts. If this doesn’t work can you let us know what type of web browser/version you’re using?

Thanks,
Lori

I’ve done all the above & a gmail window opens but closes quickly and say “Authentication failed. Please verify username and password”. There is nowhere to enter my password as that is the window that closed quickly.
Please please help!

Hi Ray,

You will only find this capability in Acrobat or Adobe Reader XI. You can also set the email settings under Edit > Preferences > Email accounts category.

Thanks,
Lori

Great feature. Do I have to attach the pdf manually or it will be attached automatically?

Hi Muhammad,

It will be attached automatically but you’ll need to send the actual email message from your Drafts folder.
