Hi,

All of the sudden, in my acrobat pro v8 all comments got numbers.
It is hard to read the document with all those numbers displayed.

When i open the same doc in Reader, numbers disappear.

Does anyone know how to disable this feature?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.1.2, Windows

Hi

I have exactly the same problem with Acrobat Standard 9.3.3. When placing the pointer over the number, a sort box pops up with an unreadable message.

I have just read that the problem is fixed if the following registry entry is deleted:

HKCU>Software>Adobe>Adobe Acrobat>8.0>Originals>bShowAnnotSequence.If the problem re-appears is because there is a piece of software that re-creates it after deletion.
