How do I convert to PDF WITHOUT headers/footers?

Simple question but I've been banging my head against it for quite some time.

I have to convert some html files to pdf.

I am using Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional in Windows XP SP2.

Basically, I will click on the html file and select "Convert to Adobe PDF". The PDF file is created, but with headers and footers containing the full path to the original html file. How do I create WITHOUT these headers/footers? It is easy enough removing them with the "TouchUp Text Tool", but it gets quite tedious on multiple page PDFs.

Is there a way to configure acrobat so these files are created without the headers and footers? I have tinkered with the "Adobe PDF" device in "Printers and Faxes" (Windows Start > Settings > Printers and Faxes) to no avail.

Can someone please help?

I haven't tried this, but try going into Page Setup and remove the headers and footers. That should work. Copy or note the codes in case you ever want to put them back.

In Acrobat, go to File > Create PDF > From web page > Clic on the SETTINGS button > uncheck the "Place headers and footers..." box. Then convert any web page using this process and quit Acrobat : this setting will be kept as default, you can now convert as usual.
