Signature Field Format

Is there a way to set the default format of signature fields when they are drawn? The current defualt is transparent. On all my documents I need this to be opaque - i.e a white fill to the box. It is a pain to have to change the format for each field I create.
 
Any ideas?

Create a signature field with the attributes you want for your field appearance then open a context menu (right click - Win/ Ctrl + click - Mac) and select Use Current Properties as New Default.
