How to create and share Actions in Acrobat XI Pro

Wouldn't it be great if you could save time by automating tasks in Acrobat?

Follow these 7 steps to create and share a new Action using Acrobat XI Pro.

1. Open the Action Wizard tools in the Tools pane, and click Create New Action.
2. The Action uses the current file, with the default option to Add Files.
   Click to choose alternate file source
   Choose another source
   Default file
   Default source
3. Choose the tool you want to add. Click to add it to your list.
   Scroll through the categories
   Click the button
   Click your tool
   Here's the new step
4. Click Add Instruction to add information, type a label for the action, and click Save.
   Type the label and click Save
   Click the Add Instruction button
   Here's the new instruction
5. Add additional commands, and configure their settings as necessary.
   Select your tool
   Click the button
   Here's the new step
   Click Specify Settings
   Select settings for the tool and click OK
6. Click Save, choose settings, add details and click Save again to add the Action to the list.
   Click Save
   Add name and description and click Save
   Choose options like name and location and click OK
   Here's the new Action
7. Click Manage Actions, click the Action from the list, and click Export to save and share.
   Click Manage Actions
   The action uses the default name and .sequ format
   Select the new Action
   Click Export
