Do you have all the latest point updates for Acrobat XI installed? As of today (Jan 19), 11.0.14 is the latest version. There were some fixes made regarding Combining files in these updates.

3, 2016-01-27 27, 2016I have a similar problem with acrobat XI. When combining files to single PDF file it will do no more that 34 files. Other days it will do only 3 and I will need to do more than 34 files. The software hangs and the task manager has to be used in order to close the application.
What do I do?

You could actually use the Action Wizard (available in Pro. version) to automate this. Setup the Action to run on a folder of your Word files and then add a second step to attach the same PDF file over and over.

3, 2015-12-10 10, 2015I have about 150 MS Word letters that I need to convert to PDF and attach several PDFs to each one (the same attachments each time). Is there an easy way to do this or do I have to go letter by letter?

There is no capability in Acrobat DC to convert folders of email in Yahoo to PDF like there is with Outlook and Lotus Notes. You would need to print each email to PDF and then combine them or use a 3rd party tool.
The ability to merge multiple documents in one PDF is a browser toolbar option for webpages not email.

8, 2015-11-29 29, 2015I am thinking about upgrading my Acrobat X Pro because it’s time and also because I now have Outlook 2013 and have lost the wonderful function of being able to convert/combine multiple emails in a single PDF portfolio with all formatting and attachments intact.
I was comparing the features of the different Acrobat versions and I see that for the new Acrobat Pro DC, I could: “In a browser, merge multiple documents in one PDF” (Subscription only).
My question is twofold:
(1) Is this the function required if I wanted to convert-combine multiple Yahoo emails stored in a folder on Yahoo (or by highlighting them) in a single PDF as I used to be able to do with Outlook emails (per above)?
and
(2) Would I be required to have a subscription in order to be able to do this converting-combining with multiple Yahoo emails?

Portfolios are slightly different that simply merging PDF pages together. In the Combine files dialog, make sure you don’t have “Portfolio” selected under the Options button before combining your files.

This sounds like an issue with how the files are originally converted to PDF. Just to test, have you tried doing a Save As on the files before combining?

I have a problem. I use CONTENTA to convert raw qrp files to pdf. I then use Adobe XI Pro to combine the .pdf files. I find it only combines 10 files then stops and tells me there is a container in the file. What do I need to do as I need to combine a lot of files at once?
