How to create and share custom tool sets in Acrobat XI

Have you ever wanted to create your own favorite set of Tools and Panes in Acrobat XI?

Just follow these 6 simple steps to create your own customized set of tools and commands in Acrobat XI.

  1. Click Customize from top right toolbar and select Create New Tool Set ...
  2. Add your favorite tools to the Quick Tools toolbar and/or Custom Tools pane. Use the arrows to open the panels and select your tool. Use the arrow/plus icons in the center to add your tools.
  3. Add instructions and a title for your Custom Tools pane. Click the pencil icon to add a label for the pane. Select the Untitled pane. Click the Instruction icon to add instructions.
  4. Select Save and Name your Tool Set.
  5. Your new Tool Set will automatically load and you can begin using it.
